Looks good Raoul! Another idea is bottle labels or beer coasters.

I may have to steal your "wall of joy" idea and use it in my new travel trailer.

I will trade you some Great Lakes Brewery Dortmunder for some Yuengling...

Tim C.
It's brewed just up the road, and around these parts we just call it Lager.
If you are in the area take the tour of the brewery and you'll get to sample all of the beers.

That's what I was thinking... Pour some polyurethane over it.

I've been saving those crunchy things that are in the corners of your eyes every morning after sleeping for several years too. I'm pretty certain that they'll come in handy some day.

yuengling lager is a good everyday beer.

that and saranac amber lager, which until recently was called adirondak amber.

those two have become my 'everyday beer' since the demise of rolling rock.

for those who care, if you read the rolling rock long neck bottles now, they have the '33' quote on the back still, cept they put a little line on top of that says 'we quote from the original credo'.

thats the part where they talk about the latrobe river, and make you feel all warm and fuzzy about where the beer is coming from.

raoul, want me to save you my yeungling caps????

it might be nice to have a rational purpose to tie to my drinking....

Nawh, I got yeungling out the ying-yang. That's what the big beer mug still has in it. The glass spittoon has Killian caps in it.

I've got to drink more Newcastle (which is expensive) and Honey lager which isn't cheap either.

I figure the Ultra will take care of it's self. The ladies drink that diet beer.
I've never bought any but, when I sorted my caps there was enough to go with a five cap pattern.

I've got a bunch of random caps to do some kind of border.

The reason I want to use pexiglass is this is a work-in-progress that will take awhile and I need to use the bartop without everything jumping around.

And I already have four or five coats of polyurethane on the top.
Besides that oak laminate wasn't cheap and I might want to back out.
Another reason is if I sell the house I don't think the bar is coming out.
I built it in the room without regard to negoitating doorways and stairwells.
A teatotaler might put up with the bar but, not the record of my 'kills' .
