I have had two mid-sized non offensive pics I linked to deleted. Are we not supposed to post pics anymore, or is there some rule?

As far as I know we can still post pics, there is still the button at the top of the reply box.....

Hey Matt, could you post a little bit larger picture? Sheesh!!

Franko, you said you linked to the pictures. Were they your pictures from somewhere else on the web? If not were they deleted from their homepage thereby deleting them here as well? Or were they obviously copyrighted? The mods don't really like us to post blatantly copyrighted pix.

 

I snubbed PSS's pic... it's just **WAY** too big. Other than pics being enormous or offensive -- we don't typically snub pics... well, unless we're bored.

Nothing worse than a sadistic mod with a sense of humor...

 

One was a picture of Marv from Sin City, the other was a bad '32 Ford coupe!

Both images were from yahoo image gallery, maybe there is an issue linking to the pics.
They both showed up at first then Marv disapeared and the coupe turned into the X instead of a pic.

No big deal was just curious.

The x means the place it was stored at changed the name or deleted it.

 

Exactly. In short, we didn't touch it. Someone either set it up so that you couldn't link it in (outside hosting) or it was deleted from the server that was hosting it...

Now -- does someone owe a mod a cold beer for falsely thinking that we were to blame for your missing pictures?

 

At least they didn't change it to gay ****.... or something.

 

I think an Elephant Keg of Heineken would be an appropriate offering to rectify my hasty judgment.
