I have a warn winch, all my friends have warn winchs. They are good winchs. Ramsey makes a good one too. Winchs aren't the cheapest thing so If you did find on for $100 then I would buy it!

My brother has a RULE winch. I think it is more expensive than Warn though. You should probably just wait until you get enough money to get what you want instead of going cheap. Now, if you can find some good reviews for what you are looking at, go for it!

Did you ever get rid of your sport ATV for a utility ATV? I am currently looking at maybe getting a Honda Rubicon or a Suzuki King Quad or similar ATV. The King Quad looks nice because it has EFI and also a locker up front and more power than the Rubicon. The Honda looks nice because I love their transmission and know that it will probably have plenty of power for what I am going to use it for.

I only have a 2500lb Warn on my Honda 650 Rincon. I've seen others out there but you only get what you pay for. Remember when you do need the winch you want it to work. It means the difference of riding home or walking home. Buy a Warn.

I have the ''Ebay'' Venon 3000 pound winch on my Brute Force. I have never used it since my atv always makes it through what I throw at it.

You will not be disappointed with that machine. I had (recently crashed the truck while trailering and totalled) a 650 and I loved that thing. I'll be getting another one soon for sure. My friend works at a dealer so I've also ridden the 750 as well. These machines are awesome. I bet you that machine will go just as good as your sport quad plus you will be able to do much more with it. As far as winches go, I would definately say spend the extra couple of bucks and get a WARN. I have always used these on trucks and quads and they have never failed. They are a quality product and that is exactly what you need in a winch. You get what you pay for really does ring true with products like this. Take it in this aspect: you put one of the best lift kits that manufacturers make on your truck because you knew it was of high quality and craftsmanship even though they are expensive kits. We all know that some companies simply make better quality lift kits than others hence the reason we dont mind spending a few extra bucks to get the better product. This is the way you should think with winches. The only time you are going to need the winch is when you are in a jam and stuck out in the middle of nowhere. You do not want the product to fail on you then. Wait off on getting one until you can spend the couple of bucks and rest assured you have a good piece of equipment. You have one of the best quads out there, now only accessorize it with the best products.

I have really never used the venom winch to verify if it is worth much or not. I can say it is louder than the Warn winches I have had in the past. Like others have said, you get what you pay for most of the time. So if you plan on doing alot of winching you may want to go with the Warn.

The black is pretty slick also. To many nice color choices.

I would also suggest the Maxxis Mud Bug and GBC Gators for other tire choices. My friend has 28 inch Gators on his Kawasaki Prairie 700 and those things go everywhere. Real deep lug pattern and just throw the slop out of the way. The picture below shows the tires and he has had those for a few years now. Obviously the tread has worn down some, but still nice deep lugs. Awesome tires
