Dumb criminals
Here is a really stupid criminal

"The Braleys said the man was in their store the day before the robbery, and he used a check. They said they hope the check will lead to an arrest."
The man went into the store and wrote a check with his name address and telephone number and then goes back the next day and robs the place. How stupid can you get!
