ehh maybe im NOT outta the mustang scene lol. i do plan on building a 5.0 in the next year but i needed a truck because i am going to be hopefully buying a house within the next year and a half, and i am an electrician..(apprentice stage). so il need a truck no matter what.

as for the stang i had a 2000 Mustang GT. all it basically had was a Trick Flow Plenum with a JLT RAI, BBK Shorty Headers, Off Road H-PIpe, Magnaflow Catback Exhuast, eibach sportline springs, KYB shocks, chrome cobras...a basic mustang

i want to mod the truck (i.e. exhaust, intake, chip maybe? and more so appearance mods)

what do u guys recommend?

Chips - Edge Evolution (which I have and love) or a XCalII tuned by Mike Troyer

Intake - Just pick one. Just not that cheap ebay crap. I've got a K & N FIPK.

Exhaust - It depends on what you want, but I went with a Flowmaster 40 series and gutted my cats. It sounds saweeeeeeeeeet!

I've also got more mods, and am planning on a few more possibly.

ill keep that chip in mind.

i was also thinking of getting the K&N FIPK as well.

as for exhuast i was thinking, like you said, just the flowmaster, i cant decide between dumped or getting some tails put in.

welcome!

Get that 5.0 and start building that. basically leave the truck stock and put the money into the stang.

AGREED!!
If your gonna mod your truck, get some appearance mods, maybe a levelling kit (4*4?) and a set of wheels. I had an Airraid intake and an Edge evolution on my 5.4 04' F150, it helps a little, but really not worth it IMO (comparing to the same amount of money spent on my stang and/or on my new Powerstroke)

electrician huh? residential, commercial or industrial? I got my ticket a few years back in the oil and gas industry, never done any residential or commercial work other than my own garage and also helped out some buddies with some wiring
