I saw a car commercial recently and the song they were playing in the background was an old beat box song from the Fat Boys, good stuff.

I used to blast "It's gettin hot in here" by The Team at all the big parties I used to have back in college. They're not a well-known group but that song kicks a$$.

Still a die-hard country and rock fan, I just have an appreciation for all music, except rap/hip hop geared toward drugs and violence.

Local Radio station here in vegas plays some pretty good songs... That make the truck "bump"

Sweet. Now I've got an even bigger list of songs never to play. EVER.

Dr. Dre: Chronic

Dr. Dre: Chronic 2000

Ludacris: Release Therapy: (Can't go wrong with any of Luda's albums)

Jay-Z :Kingdom Come: (You have to listen to it 2-3 times, but it'll soak in, and you'll be like, "Dayum, there are some hot tracks on this album: I love track # 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, & 11. It's rare to like that many songs on anyone's album.

Eminem: His work prior to Encore was great. Encore had 2-3 nice cuts, but it's like his edge wasn't as sharp on that album.

Jermaine Dupri: Young, Fly, Flashy (Gitcha is a hot cut there)

Nappy Roots: (Circa 2001) Sweet album, had the cuts "Hell Naw" (Aw naw, hell naw boy) & Po' Folks

Akon is cool, singing style rapper.

Want to spice up a party, throw on some Nelly tracks: "It's getting hot in herr" "Grillz".

Dude, I've got some jams- there is some rap (Young Joc, Lil Dro, Jeezy, Lil Whoever.." I don't listen too, I have friends that buy all the albums, and I'm like, "Who the hell is this?" But, if I think it's a hot track, I've got it in my collection.

If you have cable, tune in to BET and 106 & Park. You'll see a lot of hot artists, and some of the up & comings. But, more importantly, you'll see a LOT of booty!

While I am generally a metal/alternative guy, I have some suggestions. I was loading some of my old CD's from high school on to my Ipod and came across some Coolio and Warren G. I listened to both CD's while loading others. Took me back to high school rollin' in the Acura Integra with 3-10's. Good stuff in the 90's!

Yeah, I bumped Coolio and Warren out of my stock 6 x 9's.

Back then, I didn't have the heart to let a shop mess with the interior of my new ride!

P.O.D has a couple of good songs, but they're probably not the kind of rap you were looking for.

LL Cool J was my back in the day rap. Then Rage Against the Machine was next closest for me. Now there isn't anything out there that even comes close to the old school stuff.
