Do you understand why I pulled you over?

Well on my way to work, there is a road that goes from 45 down to 35 and guess what, that's where the freaking cop sat... Pointing his radar gun at me...

Argh... Well the routine exercise kicks in and I pull over once I see him flip his lights on... I pull over, roll down my front two windows (5% tint-illegal ) and then start to take out the id, insurance, and registration... As he is naming them off I am handing them over lol... I start talking about my license plate that isn't in yet (personalized says it will take 6 weeks) and he said his plate didn't get to him for 6 weeks either... so we are chatting for a little bit and he is like, "So do you understand why we are having this conversation?" I roll my eyes and say "Yeah I think so (smiling)." "Let me go finish the paperwork, be back in a minute." Damnit lol...

He comes back, says he let me off easy with a 40 in a 35 but he radar'd me at 52... I started asking him about Lifts and the laws here in Vegas and he said the only thing they measure is the door panel which has to be less than 26" tall... I also asked about the lights and he said there are only allowed three colors on your vehicle...red, white and yellow... He starting asking about if i have lived here and i was like my whole life lol... He said if I wanted to check out "the custom shop" he knows the owners and they could take care of me... lol so now because i got pulled over, I got the hook up at a shop but I have probably a $100 ticket to pay

So there's my story...

Good call on the tint. I would have forgotten to do that one.

Well I was an explorer with lvmpd so I know that rolling down the window puts ease on the Officer knowing that the driver is letting the cop see inside the vehicle.

I don't plan to do any modding until the tax return check... what ever is left after the CC's are paid off, will be put towards the truck

You know, I haven't gotten a ticket in eleven years, maybe that's why I'd have forgotten.

Ahh that sucks!!!!!

Tip, never let on that you know why you are being pulled over. Always play innocent until proven quilty. As Jeff Foxworthy says, never admit to a crime that you might not have gotten caught at yet. Always assume you have a tail light out and they are pulling you over to tell you.

With every ticket i have gotten, its way too obvious why i got pulled over, I don't want to play stupid and fit the "dumb blonde" profile...

When I got in my accident in the Jetta, it was funny how many highway patrol men showed up...I think like 4 lol...The first officer must have radio'd to the others... "we've got a hot fox over here"

I tend to not have that problem. If there's four cops on the scene when I get pulled over it had better be for a reason!
