Forgot you meds today, huh? Pretty funny.

Ran outta material. Putting up some 1x6 V groove planking on a tray ceiling. It's prestained and the homeowner didn't stain enough.

That's a bummer. You sholud have 2 or 3 jobs going at once, so you can do injustice to them all by rotating around, like the guys I hire.

Nawww, why get 5 people pissed at me when I can do it one at a time.

I hate jumping back and forth like that although I do have another project to work on but why go for half a day when I'll get to it in the next couple of days. When I get on a project, I stay there. The majority of the customers are repeats or word of mouth referrals, they know what the finished product will be like, so they wait in line.

That's good. Do you mostly work for contractors or individuals?

Damn, it must of sucked not having tv or radio when you were young. But I guess back then playing baseball in the sand lot was all you really needed.

Yep, and basketball, and football. Built "fast bikes" till I was about 12. Built my first hot rod when I was 13 so it would be ready when I got my license at 14. You young punks have no idea what it's like to dream up a concept of a vehicle, then go search all the wrecking yards for the pieces and then start cutting and welding. I had the first floor shift in Longview and was the first to put over size tires on the rear for traction. The tire store thought I was nuts when I went in and asked for two tires for a Cadillac to go on my 54 Ford.

You've hijacked so many threads, I didn't figure you would notice. Figured you would think you were hijacking this one.
