Cell phone thread

Ok, I'm going to upgrade mine I have a LG VX6100. I am looking at the LG VX8300. Does anybody have this phone? Should I get it or something better? I can get it free after a $50 rebate with Verizon. One of the reasons I want to upgrade is because of the memory chip it has. My 6100 doesn't have this option and It cost me to email me the pictures out of the phone. I bought this kit on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=290064256273 but I found out it wouldn't install in my cpu after I tried.

The guy was showing me the 8300 and a Razer. He said the razer was more popular but the LG is more durable and I drop my phone a lot at work. I don't really like the razor anyways. But Should I get the 8300 or should I look at something else? Thanks

All I can tell you is that everyone I know with a Razor either hates it, or has broken it. A friend of mine is on his 3rd Razor from breaking his so much with minor incidents like dropping it. Keep that in mind

I'm looking over my boyfriend's shoulder and he pointed out your article. I've had the LGVX 8300 since August and I love it. My boyfriend installed ring tones and music into the phone. It works great. The reception is good and I never have any problems with dropped calls. If you purchase the phone you will enjoy it.

My wife and I have both had Razrs for over 6 months and no problems. I have dropped it a couple of times and it still works fine.

When I upgraded, one concern that I had---and others told me about---and it is minor---is that the Razors, due to their thinness, have a shorter battery life than the others. I went with a Samsung. (I too have Verizon.)

I have had the Razr forever with no problems. I also have the hands free cradle for my truck.

I think I am the only person in the world that misses the true hardwire car phones.

When I was reffing college hoops ---when I first broke in, all of us had some sort of bag phone. Remember those?

My wife has the LG VX8300 and I've got the RAZR. I got my phone for $49.99 after rebate and hers was free with the purchase of mine. It's got a decent camera, and it seems to work well. Also, the micro-SD card thing is a pretty cool feature, IMO. Oh yeah, I have dropped my phone 3-4 times already and it works great, no issues or problems.

If you drop your phone alot, go with the LG. They are more durable than Motorola.

Another note, I have a Samsung and have dropped it at least 100 times, still works perfect...
