How long's it been since.........

You've washed your truck? I haven't washed mine since before Christmas. It's beginning to bother me, it's not black anymore, but a greyish hue, ugh. The weather has been awful around here for a while, plus I'm a slacker.

RockPick, no derogatory posting.

I've washed the mud off a few times, but as far as a "close to I can get as Rockpick" quality wash and wax... I don't even want to think about it...

Same here. I washed mine around mid Dec. 06'. I'd rather it be dirty than to use the brushes at the local do-it-yourself car washes. I do spray it with high-pressure soap and rinse it though, especially underneath to get the road-salt off. I'm glad you mentioned this, because it's about time I took my truck through the whirly wash, and spritz it with some spray wax afterwards. That's all I do for it in the winter.:o It's been to cold to do anything lately, but it's supposed to get up to 55 degrees tomorrow. YAY!

You are a week too late for me to lay down an impressive time. I washed it a week ago thursday. Before then, I had it detailed in late september/early october.

I got mine professionally detailed right after Christmas. My wife bought a package for me. A week later I had to go down a road that is about a mile long that is being used by dump trucks hauling out a bunch of dirt. I had rained for a few days before and was totally covered from one end to the other with mud. Have not washed it since, so now my truck looks like I went mudding!!!! Its so bad you can barely see the graphics down the side, lol.

Talking

I went like 3 weeks without washing mine. That's by far the longest I've gone without a wash. I washed her yesterday. I took an extra long time to wash underneath, and I even scrubbed inside the fenderwells. I got them really new looking. I have to say though, that Dupont teflon car wash did keep her decent looking. I really like that stuff. I felt sooo guilty that I went and had a Flowmaster put on her at the muffler shop! Man, if I have to wait 4 weeks I might have to order that supercharger!!

Last time mine was truly clean was right before the first snowfall in mid-November. Can't wash it right now, the days are barely getting up to freezing, very hard to wash a vehicle when the water freezes to the side while your spraying it And my truck is very, very dirty

two weeks ago, but with the winter weather I only drive the truck when the roads are snow free and clean. i would just suffer if it got hit.

Well, I am officially off the dirty truck list. The forecasted rain hadn't showed up by this morning so I broke out the goods and gave her a lengthy wash. Man, it's soooo hard to wash them after they get so nasty and dirty.

BTW I have the doors and windows open the in the house today because the weather's so mild!
