Ticket

So I got my first ticket last month. 55 in a 35 and he wrote me for five over. Being 18 and this was my first ticket, so I took it to court. I got a $75 dollar fine opposed to a $105 fine and I have to write a 3,000 word essay on the dangers of unsafe driving instead of 2 points. It's to be turned in by March 1st.

I wouldn't say I'm proud of that... I just find it funny. I drove fast all the time... I deserved more than a one month suspension.

1 week before I was 18, I got 4 in 24 hours...... 2 months later 6 in one night..... 30 days suspenion, 800 hours community service, 2 years supervised probation at $20 a month plus mandatory SR22 insurance for 3 years.......

I'm now 31 and still if/when they run my plates, it comes back as multiple (or numerous) convictions.....

When I was 18, I had 9 points on my license. The judge reccomended selling my car ('68 GTO).

how the hell do you possibly do this? You have to try real hard or be THAT STUPID to pull off something like this.

First one = quilty
next 3 not quilty, as well as several of the ones inbetween these two chapters of the story.... but 17 year old in a sports car is an easy conviction. Lets jus tsay in the end 4 cops got fired and I got a nice settelment......

Next 6 were quilty, had one drink, my first time, and seen him turning to come after me, I was speeding, scared of teh alcohol on my breath, so tried to elude in a sports car. Much easier to run in a truck..... but added a few more charges in the process. Definatly not my brightest moment. But has become a good story to tell.

Was convicted in all, but I did not do the crim on the last last three of teh first 4 in 24 hours as well as many others in the saga.

The whole thing ended and I could once again drive safely with out harrasment once my dad, my lawyer, the sherrifs department and the highway patrol got involved an investigation including a sting with my dad driving my car with my patent cowboy hat on through town 5-10 miles below the posted speed limit with my lawyer and a camera and getting pulled over..... Small town politics, got to love them....

yea I'll definatly take the dunce hat for those last 6, by far the dumbest thing I have ever done so far. I hope to not ever top it though.

As the old saying goes,
To be old and wise you must first be young and dumb.

The Ironic part is the orginal cop that tagged me for speeding was some how related to my uncle (but not me) and would likely not have given me anything if I'd stopped...... He'd probably just told me to slow it down because he knew what was going on. But because I ran, and other cops got involved.... he had to.

Hm... I *think* I might have ran from the cops last weekend when it snows. Who knows. I was only going maybe 40 in a 55, but there were flashing red and blue lights behind me (probably 1000 ft back, barely noticed them). I wasn't stopping, mainly cause we were on a long hill (not very steep). I blew threw a red light (no room to stop) with them still far behind me. Got caught at the next two red lights, and didn't see them. Oh well.

(I probably woudln;t have either) Took me a while to convince them. But then as it kept being the same 4 cops..... suspecions started to rise eventually.....Then other wit hscanners satrted commentiong on how they were talking on the radio and targeting me.
