Yup...got it going the day after the problems started. I think it was Monday this all started. Had the router unhooked for a day. Had a fast connection. Called D-Link and they helped me to install it back. They had to reconfigure it or something. Worked good until yesterday when I got the really slow connection again. Today, so far so good.

It all could have just been a glitch in the ISP's equipment..... Server may have froze forcing the others to take on a higher volume or anything. If it gets to be a problem again let me know.

I know how frustrating it must be to be ran back and forth between two companies both saying it's the other ones fault.

Dang, sucks to have that connection don't it....
Yes it does but out here in the sticks I'm just lucky I'm not stuck on dialup. I'm told that sometimes in the near future the cable out here will be upgraded so I can use my Motorola DOCSIS modem that I brought with me from Calgary. When that happens I'll be able to upgrade my 5mb download to 10mb or 25mb download. Just depends on how much I'll want to spend. 10mb will only be 10.00 more than I'm paying now but 25mb will be 50.00 more. I'll be happy just to get rid of this old Terayon modem and get my Motorola hooked back up.

Yea I'm waiting for them to upgrade here too, suppose to be this spring, I ma in the sticks too, they have promised me a free up grade to 5meg, over my 1.5 now, when they do. I cant wait it is soooo slow..... which is funny, cause 2 years ago I thought it was blazing fast over the 56K.

you may want to try the reset button but you will have to put all you setting back in. with dsl the problem alot of people have is that a dsl modem need to be set to bridge ethernet (you can get in to it with 192.168.1.254 )and the router need to be set to PPPoE and then set your username and password in the router it will work a lot better that way.if you get a new router i would highly recommend a linksys
