Oh stop Grumpy. Hell I only get a chance to read for about an hour in the evenings. Besides, I got sidetracked on a few other good novels during that time.

Next in line is Michael Crichton - Next

Any John Lescroart book. There is a good English writer that writes murder mystries, **** Francis. I have most of his. John D. MacDonald was great too. His are older as he is now dead, but the books are considered classics. There is a guy that writes murder mystries that take place in New mexico on an Indian reservation. They are very good, Tony Hillerman.

Brew, you would probably identify very well with the main charater in most of John D. MacDonald's books. He is a bum that lives on a houseboat in the Florida keys.

Ok, here are some good murder mystry writers.

David Baldacci
James Lee Burke (very good in a quirky way)
Michael Connelly
Jeffery Deaver
James Hall (great main character , set in the Folrida Keys)
John Sanford
Stuart Woods

Man, there are hours and hours of great reading there.

Brew, check out something by Carl Hiaasen.

They made the movie "StripTease" after one of his books. The movie sucked, but the book was pretty good.
