What Grossman needs to do.....

"In 1969 the Colts were 18 point favorites to win Superbowl III.
The underdog Jet quarterback guaranteed victory.
"

Greatest upset in Superbowl history and one of the greatest in Sports.

Comparing Grossman to Namath is grossly incompetent, even for a goatherder.

Hey don't go attributing Baltimore football history to the Indianapolis franchise.

It burns me up to see ESPN say stuff like, 1st trip to SB for Indy since 1970....BS...there was no Indy in 1970. Ask the Baltimore Colts players...they hate that they are associated with Indianapolis....

Johnny Unitas an Indianapolis player...disgraceful x100

I was refering to the same team being grossly favored in the same event, 38 years apart.

From what I understand, officially Baltimore records moved with the team.
Is that incorrect?
Not so in other moves, but I thought the records went with the team in the cases of Colts, Cardinals, Rams.....?

So then technically the Cleveland Browns won the superbowl, not the Baltimore Ravens.

No, the Browns franchise owner was a decent guy.
He left the team name, records, history behind and intact for the fans of Cleveland.

Irsay, left Baltimore with Moving vans in the middle of the night(literally), so the TV and Print news would not catch him.

Hey now!!!

The name, history and records were left in Cleveland. We treated our new team like an expansion team. No records, no history.

Cleveland has their history...Baltimore doesn't.

Irsay...

We've had to fight to keep the team after a couple (ok many) horrid seasons.

At any rate, other ppl don't make you mad- you only make yourself mad

Screw that...other people make me mad...

The town hated Irsay...he was a nasty drunk who cared for no one. He had driven the franchise into the ground. The fans showed him by not coming to the games...he showed the fans by pulling out of Maryland. In the end Baltimore lost but he was such a jerk it was hard to put up with him.

I was only 8 or 9 when they left so I didn't have a lot of time invested into the Colts emotionally but I've inherited the hatred for Irsay and the Indy team. If they would give back the records and history prior to the move the city and its fans would move on.

As long as Indianapolis tries to claim lenny moore, unitas, Donovan, etc as their own no Colt fan or employee is welcome in Baltimore. Those guys hate Indy and say they hate to see Indy next to their name in the Hall of Fame.
