The real reason his business was wiped out was not because of one employee. It was because he didn't do damage control to make things right immediately.

A couple dozen mats to the soldier in question, or hell, even just a public apology for his dumbass employee's comments on his website and an explanation would have been a lot better than hiding behind telephones and taking the website down.

Whatever happened to taking responsibility for one's actions? As a business owner, sometimes unfortunately this includes taking responsibility for the actions of a dumbass employee.

I think this got blown out of control before the company even knew what hit it. They would have no idea that e-mail was sent out, and with the wild-fire quickness of the Internet it was curtains before they could react.

Its tough to make decisions when your company gets flooded with thousands of calls, e-mails, and whatever overnight. They didn't stand a chance against the angry public! Plus tack on the fact its a muslim owned company and BAM! They are toast!

And whatever happened to NOT pointing the finger at everyone for one's person's actions? Why not just find out who did it an lynch them? NOOoooooo.. we've got to blame the VP, owner & workers and make them pay! Its everyone's fault! It's McDonalds fault I'm a fat ***! It's the Bunn Corporation's fault my coffee is too hot at the resteraunt! It's HP's and Microsoft's fault my computer crashed after I opened that e-mail from some unknown person!

When does it end people?!!!

Yeah, but I don't put people out of business, I just crush their spirit. I'd like to crush the goober that sent the e-mail, but not wreck the company...

OH, and I am having fun!

It ends when people start taking responsibility for their own actions.

HA! Fat chance! Our society is self centered and has a mammoth-sized sense of entitlement.

Let the mayhem continue!

But that employee who made those comments was a representative of that company and acting on the company's behalf. Now if that employee sent the respose from their personal email that would be a different story. That person was the voice of that company. The company is just as much to blame as the employee who sent the email. That employee was hired to do a job and act on the company's behalf.

Just my 2 cents.

Society isn't really like that, the secular media just portrays it that way.

...and that employee got canned. What more do you want? The Doc isn't around with his flux capacitor to go back to last week and stop the e-mail from happening!

It happened, the public blew up, the employee was fired. All is well with the world yet it continues to get press and the company bombarded.

You don't believe that do you?

Everyone now wants something from someone else. Personal responsibility doesn't exist. They either live off of mom and dad for 20 years or move out and look from hand outs from the government.

We spill coffee and want to sue the coffee maker.

Come on now, that's not how things are. You only see that bad stuff because it's from a liberal media source. The majority of people aren't like that.

And it's up to us to do something about it, not laugh at it.

The company should have done damage control ASAP. But they choose to ignore the problem by sticking there head in the sand and hoping it goes away.

They should have acted right away to let the public know that what was said was not the company's opinion or view.
