In the Butt. Tried to carjack a couple an the wife pulled a gun out of the glove compartment and shot him in the butt.

Not sure. It may be like the cops show I saw once where an officer had a shoot out with someone, fired so many rounds, I believe hit the suspect once or twice, although a lot more rounds were fired. When asked where the rounds went, the officers statement was "downrange". Of course downrange means just about anywhere down the street. Scary ain't it.

That's similar to a case that happened in here in Winnipeg. A guy crashed his car into another vehicle driven by a security guard, the guard got out and whacked the other guy over the head with a bat. It turned out that the guy that was hit had stolen the car and this was the second person he crashed into within about 30 minutes. The guy has just started to come out of a medically induced coma after about 2 weeks. If that guard hadn't whacked him he more then likely would have run away, stolen another car and possibly killed someone the third time. He's a repeat offender/drug dealer that as far as I'm concerned got what he deserved.

 

Shame he is coming out of the coma.

 

That's the sentiment here as well, the local papers have been flooded with phone calls and email in support of the security guard.
