Congrats to you and the Mrs.

Sleep might be a little hard to come by the next few months (unless you are lucky and the little guy is a good sleeper).

Overall, being a dad is the greatest. Time will fly by, so enjoy!

In regards to the name, we specifically picked Christopher James for his two middle names, with the nickname "CJ" in mind since there is no short name for Ethan that I know of. The meaning of Ethan comes from the Hebrew word that means "strong." My last name, I rarely give out but yes he's got one of those too. Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I think I should buy some stock in Starbucks with all the sleep I'll be losing. Oh well, he's worth it.

Congrats!

As the father of an 11-month-old boy, the only advice I'll give you is don't be surprised if by 3-months you're ready to sell the little bugger to the highest bidder on ebay! The first few months can be a truly brutal adjustment, but it starts getting better after that, and from 6-months on I can say that I have actually enjoyed the little guy!

Oh, and by the way, you're wife is going to be pi$$ed at you if she ever finds out that you posted pictures of her after labor -- she looks like one tired little girl!

LOL, I was thinking the same things.

With my first child, her first four months were BRUTAL on us. She was about 4 weeks premature, weighed approx. 5 lbs. and needed to eat every 1.5 hours. She would not breast feed, and my wife and I were both terminally exhausted. My work productivity went into the toilet. Fortunately, the baby was healthy and eventually started sleeping better.

I'm allowed to post the pics, she knows I get on the forums and share little pieces of my life with the world. If she does get mad, too bad.

Thanks again for all the well wishes guys.

Congrats! I wish I would have had the chance to raise a boy. I have three beatiful girls but, deep down I always wonder what it would have been like to have a boy!

Well, for one thing, it's easier. I had one of each and boys cost less and don't cause as much anxiety.
