Yes, supposedly it was shown to the press, but there was no chanting in this one like Saddam's. I doubt that we will be able to se it. Broken neck, decapitation---dead is dead.

Actually hanging is fairly scientific when it is done correctly. There is a table for the drop---it is supposed to produce 1260 ft-lbs sufficient to break the neck and not rip off the head. You just don't put a noose around the neck and hope for the best (or worst, as the case may be...) Here is the table.
