ahhhh, so not old enough to know any better, and not old enough to be held accountable. I just hope you don't get the lady's ire up again. It's been nice around these parts for awhile. You might want to consider deleting your question. Just free advice.

Hey Sean. How are ya? I have to say though, that you're a little too young to be asking me that question.

Wow....old thread......

Well since I'm considerably older...but not creepy old , I'll ask it for him.

What's this about a webcam?

Rumor mill has it that LT is quite the attractive woman. How about a fully clothed and appropriate picture to put the rumor mill to rest.

All right -- the jig is up.

I'll admit it -- I'm LT's bastard child!

Which means I've been a heck of a lot closer to two particular areas all the poon-hounds around this place have been falling all over themselves trying to get to!

Hey NW - so I have to allow switch port access to a VLAN before I can trunk it? What's up with that... put in some new Cisco gear and took me awhile to get the damn vlan trunking working... I'm gettin' rusty at the 'ol IOS.

PS - LT is a man.

What IOS version? That sounds right, though. I haven't messed around with trunk ports in awhile. Actually, I baby sit servers most of the time these days.

Uhhhhhhh... 12.2(25) <some random letters here>. That sounds kinda right... Anywho... I gotta double check some other switches tomorrow and look at their configs. Once I got everything talking I got the hell outta dodge.

I also gotta figure out if my redundant sup card is configured right... not sure if that little red light is good or not...

Meh, not like I used to. Back in my consulting hey day I got to play in rooms with so much cool stuff worth millions. Now I just get my own little world... one 'decent' sized core switch and a bunch of distrobution layer switches.. pretty flat network, couple VLANS, firewalls, blah blah blah. It doesn't have the "wow" factor, but I love it.

Sounds similar. I have six 3550's in four adjacent buildings. All connected with fiber. One firewall, and one dial-in router (AS5300) ten servers and around sixty five lusers.
