Something Stange on F150Online Homepage
this has been discussed
the google ads are not controlled by the webmaster, only the genre , which he probably chose pickups or automobiles
the ads get randomly put on by google by popularity of their search engine like what is searched most for trucks, and if youre in a post you may see a tundra ad because somebody mentioned the truck.
it is generated by keywords.

I saw that the other day. At least it's not a bunch of animated jerks dancing as stupid as they can taking 1/3 of the web page.

As noted, those particular ads are generated by Google, and while we can block those from Toyota, I'd rather take their money and thank them for their willingness to contribute to covering the operational costs of this site.
The reality is that the Google ads are displayed based on their complicated algorithms that determine which ads are likely to 1) pay the most based on the amount the advertiser has bid per click and 2) be clicked on the most to result in #1. Since Toyota ads are coming up frequently, that means they are probably bidding more than other companies, which means other advertisers respond by increasing their bids. I would be a complete idiot to remove them because of this. (ditto goes for the animated Chase ads)
A guy from Ford asked me a few weeks back if I would remove them, I told him "no problem, as soon as Ford steps up and replaces the income I would lose as a result." I have yet to hear from Ford Motor Media.
