Florida was on fire last night...gotta give them props. floridas defense played exceptionaly well. Ohio's O-line couldn't give troy smith any protection he was getting sacked left and right.

I thought for sure as pretty much everyone else did that Ohio state was gonna run over florida. Florida looked awesome and they got the win. Always nice to see the underdogs win.

I wonder what hte final spread was on the game. last I had looked it was someting like florida getting 8 points. Some people lost a **** load of money I bet.

I think last I saw was 7.5 points.

Great playing by the Gators.

LOL, so much for all the sportswriters that said the real National Championship game was in Columbus in November. The actual NC game was in the Swamp and featured LSU and UF!

Go Gators and Go Hogs!

I think NCAA division 1 college football desperately needs a playoff system. It could be like March madness, only with 32 teams split up into the 4 regions.

Playoffs won't happen until at least 2010. Much of what I heard is that the Big 10 and Pac 10 really don't want playoffs. Something about preserving the Rose Bowl and it's glory???

Now, where were all those people that were saying that Michigan and Ohio State should play for the NC. I think that my response was that Michigan had their chance and they lost and we need to make sure that those teams are the 1-2 that everyone seemed to think that they were. Looks like I was right, neither one of them deserved it.

I find it hard to follow a sport that doesn't want there to be a true champ. Too many co-champions. Forget strength of schedule. Who cares if a team had a weak schedule and finished undefeated. Undefeated teams deserve their due just like big name school teams. Forget the hype and the almighty rose bowl. People need to open their minds and imagine the buildup to the playoff championship ballgame. That would kick March madness right in the tail.

I am already looking forward to next year! It doesn't hurt that we have the Heisman runner-up on our team!

Arkansas did a miserable job with their schedule next year. The didn't schedule a single decent out-of-conference opponent, which means they'll have to go undefeated to get in the NC game (which isn't going to happen in the SEC). GRRRRR.
