New Song Game...

I'm bored, and I need something to do Seeing as how the old "Song Game" thread basically repeated itself, I came up with a new idea yesterday. Basically, you type a line of the song or what the song is about. So, if I were to say that my dad was a truck driver and loved my mother with all his heart, but she didn't love him and cheated on him, so he ran her and her boyfriend/lover over with his truck, the answer would be...Papa loved Momma - Garth Brooks. Got it?

I'm thinking of a song that's about runnin' and livin' and good hearted women, family and God.

That pretty much could be any country song on the radio here.

True, but it's a line right out of the song.

Trace Atkins - Songs About Me

I'm thinking of a song where the setting is circa late '60-early '70 something, where I got my pills against mosquito death, but my buddy's breathin' his dying breath.

I closed my eyes, begin to pray then tears of joy stream down my face

Pink Floyd- Wish you were here

I'm tired of playing games, of looking for someone else to blame
For all the holes in answers that are clearly showing

here's a sappy one from an animated movie soundtrack.

For one so small, you seem so strong. My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm. This bond between us can't be broken. I will be here. Don't you cry.

It's not a sappy song!
