Along with "a courteous driver" thread

I had to take my kids's dog to the vet this morning, he is bad sick. The yhave hositilized him over night.
Anyway, I had to come back home and get his insulin (yes the dog is a diebetic and we give him insulin shots).
Anyway.... as I was pulling out I hear a horn blare so I stop and I barely missed this car. It was a white concord, not an easy one to miss, Apparently it was behind the passenger A pillar and I could not see it when I pulled out. But a whole car???? Has that happened to anyone else?

They stopped in the middle of teh road, I pulled on out and pulled up behind them, I was upset about some other things including the dog, so was thinking alright, what is protocal here.... if he gets out, do I apologize and wait for him to get irrate, then lay him out for being a jerk wad? Or do I walk up meet him between the vehicles and if he lifts his hands knock him out immediatly. The guy turned around shook his fist at me, I lifted my hands, shrugged my shoulders like "what do you want from me?" and I mouthed "Sorry".

But I am concerend about this car being hidden behind the A pillar. I do have window vents on but they are semi transparent. Has anyone else ever had this happen? I have had pedestrians beable to hide behind it, but never a whole car.

Hi there fellow courteous driver.

In this case you were in the wrong.

Technically, as a 'courteous driver' you should exit your vehicle if the other driver does.

Then remain still with hands at you sides while you are pummeled.

Here is hoping that you only encounter drivers who hit like a girl.

I aint that courteuos. Deserved or not I wont take a pummeling unprotested from anyone for any reason.
The way my day, started I was ready to pumel someone myself, it appeared he was going to volunteer himself as my stress release doll.

Isn't it amazing that some people can't see our trucks? Some chick (older) pulled over from the left lane in front of me. I couldn't see her taillights when she was in front of me!

I've had a lady (go figure) in a Suburban once who passed me WITH my boat in tow, yet seemed to forget about me when her rear end was about even with my mirror. She then decided that she needed to be right where I was, and started to merge. Slammed on the brakes, laid on the horn, and one finger saluted her. Then, I passed her and showed her JUST how close I could get my prop to her grille...

Actually yes, this did happened to me just a few weeks ago. Thank God there was a turning lane and I saw the car and swerved into the turning lane to allow it to pass before I got out into traffic. Scared the **** out of me and made me more conscientious of that blind spot. Funny, I've had the truck almost 7 years and that's the first time it's happened

BTW - How's your dog?? What happened? I hope he'll be ok.

Yea I've had mine 2 years and this is the first, I am going to pay attentio to that spot now.

For the dog, he didn't make it. Wife just called me a few minutes ago and told me, I am getting ready to go get him.

I am trying to decide if I should let the kids see im when they get out of school or go ahead and dispose of him first.

I wasnt expecting him to and I got the kids prepred last night. I'm not looking forward to when everyone gets home.

He was an OK dog but I wasnt real close to him. Kind of miss him not laying here at my feet while I'm at my computer now.

Just went and got him, they put him in a cooler box, now I guess I have decided to bury him before the girls get home from school and wife from work. They said he was doing better last night when they left and they really thought he'd be OK today. Of course I'm not suppose to tell wife or kids that.
