Hi,
I know this is a truck site. However I am trying to build myself a golf vacation in Tucson Arizona for a belated 50th bday present. I have non-golfer relatives there to visit and they are of no help. It will be in the middle of April 2007.

The internet has alot of great links for the area but deciding on the options are driving me crazy. I just want to golf a couple of nice courses and let the little woman get a nice spa package while I am out doing my thing.

I guess that I should just ask a few questions that some may have answers or know someone that would have answers.

What courses in Tucson are the best value as far as course play vs. green fees?

What would be the best resort for amenities vs. again, money?

What would be a recommended hotel that doesn't cost an arm and leg (see the trend here)?

Are there any courses "friendly" to beginners? Not for me but my wife and relatives.

Does anyone know any secrets for getting the best discounts?

I am not trying to cheap out totally but I don't want to overspend either. I still need mod money for my truck!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
