Found a temporary use for that 2x6

Until I get a real bike rack, this will have to do.

2x6 at 66"

I cut a couple of notches in each end for the frame to sit in. Then pulled the bike tight using bungee cords to the anchors in the bed. Fed a bike lock through the bed anchor, bike frame and front wheel.

Better than nothing and the bike is sort of hidden from view (mostly).

i still ride my 12 year old Diamond Back. not even suspension forks. they were an expensive upgrade when i got it. it don't matter though, cus i still can ride better and faster than most on the trails.
