Work at home, get rich quick commercials???

What's up with these things. I was watching TV on break, and they keep popping up these commercials with bad actors saying they only work a few days, and make thousands per month working at home. And if I just go to their website for free they'll tell me how I can do it too...

WTF is this? What can they possibly be doing, and if its so great how come I never hear about anyone actually doing this???

I've heard of a few people selling stuff on EBay making a killing. A buddy of mine was selling replica police cars he purchased from the manufacturer online for a hefty profit. The best part is anybody could go the maker and buy them for the price he was getting. Once he received it he'd list it on EBay and normally double his money.

A co-worker of mine started working for a company and was making at least 2500 2x per month from his house. His total time invested was about 15-20 hours per week. I work for the same company, but not in the same department and I make crap, but then I only work about 5 hours per week and not very hard. All I need to do is ask to be transfered to the field department to make a similar wage as my co-worker, but I want benefits and a steady paycheck.

You have to have atleast 2 grand to start your own business... all you do is get cheap merchandise at very discounted prices and turn around and sell it on ebay... for whatever price... i looked into it, but to me its not worth it...

I'll take my 9-5 40 hours a week and a steady paycheck than chance not getting paid a certain week or month...

but to each his own

I've got a friend (18) still in high school that is selling stuff on Ebay. He is making enough to have his own two bedroom apartment in a nice gated community and his own Mustang, plus enough spending money.

What does job stand for? "Just-Over-Broke." Sure most people have jobs and many make lots of money. But if you look closer, the ones that own the company are the ones making the wealth. It's much nicer to own the store rather than to bag the groceries. As for the tv infomercials, a lot of these are legitimate opportunities. The reason you "don't hear anyone doing it" is because most people are lazy, and full of negativity. It's the top 1 percent of people who have that edge and are willing to take action and make things happen. My dad is a lawyer and purchased one of the making money packages back in 1996. He did so well he wrote to the company and they flew out to feature my dad on the next infomercial. There you go. Now you know one person.
