Got an Xbox 360... Gears of War? Project Gotham?

Well, the little lady got me an Xbox 360 for Christmas, but no game... Originally her sister was going to get me Call of Duty 3, but decided to go in on a camera instead...

So, I'm trying to decide if I should get Gears of War or Project Gotham 2 or 3... or is there something better out right now?

I really like the first person shooter and racing games. I pretty much despise sports games. I haven't yet found anything that was anywhere near as fun as TecmoBowl...

I'm probably going to go find something at lunch. I've got a gift car for Wally's, but Best Buy isn't too far away...

GoW is nice, albiet WAY too short. CoD3 kicks major ****. I really enjoy the NFS series over the PGR series. Better game play to me. Madden '07 is decent, but so overly complex. Just got F.E.A.R for x-mas, haven't played it yet.

umm, but you can play it on 360, and halo 2 multiplayer and online is still the best game out,

and I like gears of war but I think the graphics are lacking for such a new game

Halo (1&2) is still my favorite. Mostly because its more sci fi than action... I loved the music, etc... Just thought it was a cool game overall...

Quake and Doom were big hits with me on PC. I haven't really played anything other than my GBA for almost a year now (wedding and Belvedere were pretty time consuming, plus the house is coming up soon)...

Hey, isn't there a Forza 2 out for 360? I really liked Forza on Xbox...

DOH!

I hate it when I ask a stupid question that's already been answered....my bad.

I have a buddy at work that has a 360 and he says he cant put Gears of War down. He said it's a short game, but the replay value is pretty high.

I wish I could help out more....

GOW is well worth the money. I still play it all the time. It might be short, I try to unlock all the achievements and I only have about 200 of the 1000 done. I beat it on casual and hardcore so far. And online play is amazing.

Forza2 will be out in spring

Rainbowsix:vagas is good. i just got that.

I have COD2 and still love it, I didn't get COD3 yet.

download uno!

Not a problem...

I'm thinking I'll probably just see what they have in this order...

COD3
GoW
NFS

I forgot Project Gotham has those cheesy Kudos... Kinda annoying to me...

An excellent list, and in order I might add. Happy hunting!

Get Lego Star Wars 2!!!! Very Fun and addictive game!
Lots of stuff to unlock!

I have GoW, GRAW (Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare), Prey, and Dead Rising.

Also: Go to Burger King & pick up Pocket Bike Racer and Big Bumpin! They are $4 with a value meal and VERY fun!

The Call of Duty games are excellent - especially through a home stereo or surround sound.
