when do you open your gifts up?

christmas or christmas eve?


(i lied) i use to open one up on christmas eve...and then the rest on christmas.....but since i have been a little older we have been opening them on christmas day.

 

When all of the grandkids were kids, we would open 1 present on Christmas Eve so we would shut up and leave the parents alone. Now it's all on Christmas Day.

 

I have always opened 1 gift on Christmas eve and then everything else on Christmas morning.

 

all on christmas eve, but "santa" still brings us some stocking stuffers on christmas morning.

 

Christmas Eve and maybe the big suprise on Christmas.

 

All gifts from each other (family) on Christmas Eve, then a decent size spread from Santa the next morning...

 

We always got to open one present on Christmas Eve just so we would shut up (usually the crappiest present, like socks or bedsheets or something), then the rest of them on Christmas morning. I remember I didn't like that though cause my mom took FOREVER to wake up.

Then I moved in with my dad, and my step-mom started letting me open one present each night starting like a week before Christmas, then open them all on Christmas Eve... it was really weird. I guess she thought we were Jews or something. Hey, at least I didn't get a dreidel. Stereos are much cooler.

 

haha....i completely forgot that i use to open up one on christmas eve also to shut me up..lol

 

We used to open one on Christmas eve as well. Now we wait until Christmas morning, except this year, we had our Christmas on Saturday so my sister and her husband could go to his folks house.
