Having a BAD DAY Too? - Come Here and Vent!

In no particular order...

What a bunch of BS, I can't wait for vacation ....

Here is the list..
1. There hasn't been a good thread or even an OK thread in the 04-Present forum.

2. My mother is becoming more paralyzed and the hip replacement isn't doing much good.

3. My girlfriend's brother's brain cancer is getting worse and he won't make it till Christmas.

4. Found out today that I won't be considered for promotion any more.

5. I have a crap load of work to do, I've been work 65+ hour work weeks since September 1, 2006 and I was also told today that I'm not "dedicated" enough. (and I'm salary so that speaks for itself)

6. Work computer broke yesterday so I got a new one (lost 3 hours of work)

7. New work computer broke this morning so I don't get a new one till tomorrow (out of replacements), what would take me 5 hours to do today will now take 10 hours...oh and no I still have to have it done by midnight.

You just killed my boner Duke. Not to rub it in, but so far this week:

1. I've spent time with a hottie
2. Got a PS3
3. Loving my new Blackberry
4. Weather is holding out enough to continue to ride the motorcycle
5. I'm in perfect health.

Sorry to hear all that DUKE...

Kinda makes my total boredom here for the last 2 weeks seem "not so bad" I hope things get better for you.

That sounds like a good week!

One thing that stunk is I stayed in line at 4:00 am sunday morning at Best Buy to buy my younger brothers and sisters (who are actually quite a bit younger and live at home) a Wii. Well I was 21 in line and they said they had 21 the day before and on the window.

Well at 7am, the third person in line let in two of his friends. That moved me from 21 to 23 and thus no Wii. Nothing like going completely out of my way to do a good deed and metaphorically kicked in the sack for it. I thought it was the dumbest thing to wait outside for hours in 15 degree weather for this thing, but I figured they were worth it since they had a rough year at home with Mom.

I walked away empty handed on that one.

I feel your pain... I hung around outside of a best buy on the release date only to get denied. I had fun though. Only wasted an hour or so of my life and got to see a bunch of retards (the folks that actually camped out for two days).

Keep your chin up, just frequent the stores and always remember to ask. That's how I stumbled upon my PS3 yesterday. It's all about the timing!

Be thankful that you're only having a bad day.

(On a side note . . . I think it's time to start looking for a new job).

Levels of retardation are relative.

You actually stood in a line to buy something, a toy that promotes brain-deadness no less.

Be careful there Bubba.

As for me, I'm outta here to go do something useful . . . like go to the driving range and see if I can swing a club. (This ought to be interesting).

My work SYSTEM broke. Yesturday I had no tools and none of our companies websites were up. My computer worked fine, worked fine for Notepad as that's the only way I could document/troubleshoot calls. Today the software we use for documenting tickets is intermittent and there are 28 calls waiting right now
Of course that's the worst that's happening to me right now and I could care less.

No I really agree, it could always be worse. I'm thankful that I still have excellent health (besides putting on 15 pounds since September and knock on wood it stays as good health).

Oh well, something is bound to go right sometime soon.

My day got much better. Our insurance guy just dropped by and gave me a dozen ProV1s. Guess it could have been better, could have given me 2 dozen!

Sweet. Too bad they will have the insurance company logo on them.
