I know you're calling it like you see it too, but I wonder how they could seem so different.

Were you on a rocky road or something?

PS: I like the Ridgeline, but would never buy one... I don't like it that much.

truck?!

first you say something is wrong with the truck and to take it in, then you realize he was right all this time a long with everyone else.

you just seem to be a person I realize that thinks you know it all when it comes to cars and trucks, when in fact, you hardly know a thing other then what you read in papers.

Listen Brokeback Mountaineer, I've never said I know "everything" about cars- and yes, I did state both because I remembered that on less than good pavement, the steering can get a little jittery. But, when I drove the Ridgeline, I was in Texas, where we have good pavement. (The only places I've ridden on "bad" pavement is the stretch on I-20 I mentioned, and in Oakland, CA). So, I've never experienced a rough ride in a Ridgeline. But, yes, on certain pavement it can ride in a manner much less than the refined manner in which it normally rides. But, if you are surrounded by poor pavement this would not be the vehicle for you. But, that's what they make test-drives for.

However, if it's (or any passenger car/truck) is vibrating to the point that the visors aren't staying locked, etcetera, then that is NOT normal. You wouldn't expect that half-*** ride sitting in the bed of an unloaded 1987 F-350. Hell, I'd take my Bradley Fighting Vehicle to the shop if it rode that badly, and THAT is why I said the wheels are probably out of balance.

I find it unbelieveable and highly unlikely that any vehicle sold in America today, rides so badly that the visors won't stay locked, and the glove box, and other stowable compartments won't stay secure. You know that's bulls**t as well as I do.

You just HOPE and WISH it was that bad. It would feed into that anti-anything-other-than-a-Ford-Toby-Keith-loving delusional mentality of yours.

If it was that bad, it would not have won the 2006 MT Truck of the year... But, I know, in your mind, that trophy doesn't and didn't mean anything.

Except of course, in 2004.

Yeah, some people need unions...

Ridgeline Description: From Honda

By now, you've seen the Honda Ridgeline, the half-ton truck that loves rough roads and offers plenty of versatile cargo room. But maybe it's time for a closer look. Because whether you're hauling big payloads or tackling the rugged terrain, the 2007 Ridgeline is ready to impress.

A 5,000-lb. towing capacity and 1,550-lb. total payload capacity will never leave you wanting more. The Ridgeline boasts this exceptional strength from an integrated closed-box frame with unit-body construction and powerful, 247-hp, V-6 engine with 4-wheel independent suspension.

Don't forget that the Ridgeline was the first 4-door pickup to achieve the highest government crash-test rating (5 stars) for both frontal and side-impact tests.* And it has the lowest chance of rollover among all pickup trucks tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Owner Reviews:

1. "One of the most useful, comfortable, quiet, trucks i have ever seen, owned, drove"

2. excellent awd system, car-like handling, comfortable

3. No body roll, Very quite, Beautiful and functional interior. In bed trunk.

4. Capable engine, car-like ride, features like the trunk and gate not found on competitors

5. I didn't drive the Ridgeline like a sports car because it's not one, so I cannot comment on its behavior "at the limit." The ride is smooth (the independent rear suspension helps here) and noise levels are perhaps the lowest I've experienced in a pickup. Like the Avalanche but unlike other pickups, the bed is not a separate unit from the cab. This no doubt contributes to the refined car-like nature of the "truck."

6. Perfect for the weekend warrior who needs the utility of a truck, but would prefer the comfort and refinement of a car. Whereas the Ridgeline exterior is most certainly truck, the comfort, smoothness, and handling of the ride made you forget that fact completely. It does not have the rugged and off-roadish feel of other full-size trucks that I’ve driven, but I’m not sure it’s supposed to... Plainly put, it drives like a car because most owners will use it like a car. It’s tough enough to do most anything, but I don’t expect your average Ridgeline owner to really bang around in it.

7. I test drove them all, and the Ridgeline was by FAR the best riding truck out there in my opinion. The back seat has plenty of room for 2 people... 3 in a pinch.

My sister recently bought a 07 honda accord, while waiting for the salesperson to pull his head from his *** with the managers assistance we had a chance to sit in the ridgeline. This is by far the most pathetic excuse for a vehicle I have ever seen. The interior had so many oddly placed cheap feeling controls I could not believe it wore the honda logo. They were even offering 10k off MSRP and special financing, leading me to believe they could not give these things away. The back seats were the most uncomftorable things I have ever felt and who had the bright idea of hiding the spare tire under the bed? Great for when your actually using the truck and get a flat.
Oh yeah and if I didnt mention it enough, the back seat is the most uncomftorable seat ever on a vehicle. I have sat in go carts with more comftorable seat cushions

^^^^Like I told you already, you only believe what you read!^^^

Ridgeline is probably the worst car/suv (what ever it is) that has ever been built and somehow Honda calls it there truck

Trust me needle dic*, visors DO fall down with rough roads so stop pretending you know everything still! My sisters Honda Accord does it, my Sable did it, and once in a while my Mountaineer does it. Its called pot holes!

It does NOT matter if a SUV had 4 wheel Independent suspension, that does not make it a smooth riding SUV. My Mountaineer has 4 wheel Independent suspension and it rides like hell over rough roads! So shut your damn mouth you dumb Nig in thinking you have to correct everything sine you think you know it all from just what you read.

Now that I think about it, my MDX (Almost the same vehicle under the skin) didn't like Louisiana's roads from Shreveport to Ruston. The road was kinda grated, and she shook & shimmied very noticeably. I remember being p!ssed about that (Having just bought it.)

So, yes- you're right. If the roads aren't good, it won't ride well... But, in Texas, (We do have great roads, I must admit), they all ride exceedingly well. But, over less than ideal roads, my Expedition was a lot smoother, even with 20's.

The tires or something is out of balance if it's shaking & vibrating like that.

They say we have the best roads in the country. That's just what I've heard. I've noticed we have better roads then most.

Oh and Hersh....ignore the moron. He's a waste of oxygen.

I better be careful I'm already on the pookie list for owning 2 Mopars and a Chevy (plus, I married into a very reliable Honda), but I thought the above statement was ban worthy... Just my opinion...
