Freight companies

Any of you all know of a trucking company that would ship a Dana 60 from Wisconsin to North Carolina for less than say, $300? The guy I bought it from got a quote from freight line (I forget which one) for $3/lb. and be in that a Dana 60 front is around 525lbs. My friend's dad's company got 3 gang boxes full of heavy equipment shipped from NC to Ontario. But it was quite expensive and took too long of a time.

Did you try www.TransnetEx.com ? You might try some big truck company with flat beds (Werner Enterprises, JB Hunt, etc.) But, TransnetEx.com is a place where you find right people to transport at cheap rate. I could transport my partial load in a very short span of time.

Try TransnetEx.com. I used them a few times to locate transporters with good results

Try ABF Freight ( www.ABFS.com ). That's who I always use to ship engines and stuff. You can get a free internet quote if you have the weight and dimensions. You'll only get cheap rates if you ship terminal-to-terminal instead of door-to-door.

I drive a truck for a small company, I might be able to help you out....

MAYBE?

We go wisconsin and South Carolina all the time.

It just depends on how fast you need it, and how far out of the way you are.
