New To The Board

Hello everyone! I'm Ben, from Pennsylvania. I bought a 2005 F-150 XLT Super Cab. It's all bone stock right now, but I intend to do some simple mods.

I hope that I can learn a lot from this website and have a good time.

A little about me, I'm 22 years old, I'm in the PA Army National Guard. I spent a year in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I'm currently enrolled at Wyoming Technical Institute's Blairesville PA campus. I start January 2007.

I'm open to any suggestions and I'm sure there is plenty of folks on here with them.

Thanks!

Ben

haha thanks, believe it or not, the date on that pic is correct, dec. 11 2006. out here in south western pa, we've been having terrific weather. been in the 50's and low 60's...

well i've been thinking about adding the flowmaster american thunder cat back exhaust kit, and then also a k&n cold air intake kit for starters.

is there any other common mods folks do? i've been looking around at other threads trying to check it all out... theres a lot of info on here lol

I'd wait till the warranty was up before any engine/performance mods.
But a leveling kit and aftermarket wheels are a good start.

Hello Ben.

Alot of common things around here people do to the 04 and up F150s are the painted door handle mod, front level/lift kit, window tint, exhaust & don't forget the tuner!

Welocome to the forum Ben...Catback exhaust systems are inexpensive and good first mods...The Flowmaster catback system you mentioned is okay...it was my first mod on my first truck as well...
