Vinyl Junkies

Folks,

Not to promote products, but once a in long while you see a wow product, now for me it is the light weight plastic turntable which has a usb output - which plugs into a PC... Load a bit of software - and Vinyl to MP3..

I went to the local store and pick one up, seems ok, software is clever enough to remove the pops and crackle,

199 albums to go, but really good fun.

Check out the review

I only have one vinyl album that I've wanted and can't find in a modern format. One of these days I'll have to find someone who still has a decent turntable and have them burn it onto a CD for me.....

I have music collections in vinyl, 8 track, cassette and various open reel from stereo to 16 track and the equipment to play them all except for the 16 track stuff.

I spent some of my best years in the music business in various incarnations and I'm a seriously bad pack rat with a lot of storage capacity.

Been thinking about getting one of those myself, we have about 150 albums that I'd love to have on CD.

I have one on my stereo equipment. I like it. I'm considering getting one of them myself because it is much simplier
