The fans' emotions will never come to terms with the financial reality.

I would also unfortunately imagine that there is somewhat the smae feeling with some of the fans in MD---the hollow feeling you get when you watch Peyton Manning whereing Johnny U's uniform---the Colts were Baltimore---and in my mind---should always be in Baltimore.

Yep...

We can agree to hate the Steelers though.

Bill Cowher used to play for the Brownies---turncoat that he is. Iw ould like it though that he retired, took a year or two off, and came back and took RAC's spot as head coach.

And yes, half of our D-line is now working well for Denver. I looked at how much smaller the Stillers O-line was last night---it is amazing to see what talent and pride can do. Ted washington, our nose tackle, how weighs in at slightly less than an F-150---was driven back 5 yards last night!

I abhor all malls---I don't normally go to Great Northern or SouthPark in Strongsville, but my wife's engagement ring needed to have the prongs checked and such. The bridge over I-480 is like a washboard---I saw that they are delaying road work on it until after the holidays.

I hate crowds---and at this time of year, it seems that all of the stupid slow dimwits are all out to get me and to get in my way...

I try to do most of my shopping on line

We could have had the name back. That A-hole Ursay offered to sell art model back the colts name for something over 100 million bucks. Not only did Art Modell tell him to stick it but so did the people of MD and baltimore.

We felt just as horrible when Art Modell left town with OUR TEam as yu guys did when the Colts snuck out overnight...

Like Vader said Cleveland was given plenty of warning and the oppertunity to prevent the move, The City of Cleveland chose not to work with Art Model. That man didn't want to leave the city of cleveland but really he didn't have a choice. Robert Ursay the owner of the Colts at the time of the move and up until his death just a few years ago was quite frankly a *****. He Never actually bought the Colts team. He owned another team , i believe the Chargers, and there was some funky trade of teams. He intentionally stocked the team with poor players and regularly lashed out and belittled the fans. This led to poor enough attendance and tv ratings for him to be able to move the team. So while yes both teams did leave their home cities but the situations were completely different. Please feel proud and lucky that your city got to officially keep teams history and records

If I'm not mistaken, he and Carrol Rosenblum traded teams -- Irsay got the Colts, and Rosenblum got the Los Angeles Rams. So I guess the only difference in the eventual outcome of the transaction would have been that we'd now have the St. Louis Colts and the Indianapolis Rams as NFL teams.......

Is that the logo? Art Modell got rid of it about the same time he got rid of Paul Brown
