so my 18yo brother just calls me.. first thing he says is "Some [overly gracious individual] broke into my (his) [wonderful] truck last night!!!" I ask what they took- im going oh no, hes got the alpine 9857 deck, two 500W amps, capacitor, two rockford fosgate P312 subs- he says they took his [fabulous] 60gig iPod, and his Timbuktu bag with all his culinary stuff in it...

who the eff breaks into a truck, (slim jims the door, no breakage) and steals an ipod and bookbag when there is 2-3k in audio equip just sitting there? WTF lol

no no, my mistake just reworded the post- someone broke into his truck (01 taco-) and took that stuff from him- i'm up in montana...

 

Years ago, I had someone break into my car and stole a checkbook. Now mind you this was on the bank where I worked parking lot. Just how long did they think those checks would be good for. The account was closed by the time the bank opened, as I worked nights at that time. Oh, and they left the tools I had in my car. Thieves are stupid.

 

Its happens all the time down here in the dirt My GMC got broke into 3 times and stolen once. All four times it was just for the system and it was never a very good one :o and when the fools took it they didn't even touch the rims, tires and the decent suspension on it
