I hear ya about the weather. I am in Ohio right now for a training class for work and since Tuesday it was in the middle 60's and fairly nice. Today, I went to our training class and it was in the middle 50's at 8am. At 5pm when the class let out, it was only in the low to middle 30's and wind blowing at least close to 50 mph. Plus it is supposed to start snowing sometime tonight and/or tomorrow.

Being Florida born and raised and currently live, this is definately different for me.

I'm convinced: Mother nature is a manic-depressive menopausal woman. hot one day, freezing the next, will put lightning in a snow storm just to keep you on your toes, and there's no makin' her happy!!

Yeah, it got up to about 70 today here in TN. The winds were getting up last night and early this morning. There's broken cedar limbs all over the roads. I just happened to swipe a big branch tonight while on a narrow two-lane road. It was either hit the branch, or hit the car in the other lane. All I heard was screeeech! It made me mad because there was nowhere to go.

I saw where the limb left a swipe mark all the way down the side of my truck, but luckily it just swiped the dirt off my paint. I took it to a car wash so I could get a better look at what happened, but I didn't see any scratches. I figured while I was there I'd give it a good wash. Good thing I put a good coat of NXT wax on my truck a few days ago.

Our weather hasn't changed much in the last few days. Cold, snow, more cold and a little more snow. It's about 15° now and it wasn't snowing last time I looked.

FYI

We just got a new record here in November, one of the many this year.
Temperatures are increasing here rapidly, more than anywhere else on the planet.
We almost got a freaking 20 deg celsius here last week. 20 C !!!!!!
Heavier rain, more rain coming down etc....

The other day the temp got up to 80 while I was at work. Later in the evening a cold front blew in, dropping the temp to 50. I left work and drove home, half way there my outside temp gauge went from 50 to 80 in about 2 miles and my windows, all of them completely fogged up to where I almost had to pull over, couldn't see. That night the temp continued to fall, into the 20's by next morning, about a 55 degree temp drop in less than 12 hours, complete with freezing rain and sleet. sheez

This last Wednesday here in Las Vegas it got down to 27. I been here 8 years and that is the first time I have seen it freeze the end of Nov. Maybe once or twice in Janurary, but not November. We were up in northern Nevada then and it was real cold there, at 0 to 5 above. Strange indeed.
