I've got a couple old cell phones I want to put on EBay, but I need to make sure that I've deleted all my old information off 'em. Is there any general guideline on going about it? Can I just keep my SIM chips and sell the phones, or is there any way to delete the stuff on the SIMs? They're Motorola and Samsung phones, for whatever that's worth.

 

Not sure on the Samsung... but, most of the Motos that I've dealt with over the years had some sort of 'hard reset' feature.
