Is this the next Mustang?

Thought this was pretty strange, apparently it was designed in Italy...

Should do nicely against the new Camaro...

Ugh, Looks like a crack head redesigned a 350Z, added tribar tail lights, and slapped a pony on it.

It's not really a good shot of it, but it isn't horrible. I'd like to see different angles without people standing in front of it.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Sure would like to see some other shots too.

Thumbs down

If that's the 2009 Mustang, I'm glad I'll be buying either a late-07 or early-08 model!

I've been kind of curious to see what the re-do in '09 would look like (and can't say that I'm convinced that photo link will be it) but either way I can't imagine that Ford will be able to improve on the looks of the current offering.

The current Mustang masterfully blends a vintage feel with modern underpinnings. Any attempt to alter it will start playing with what is already a perfect formula. While the '09 version might improve the car from a performance standpoint, in my opinion any attempt to alter the looks can only "dumb down" what is already a pure, timeless design.
