Red face Trading down

Well it looks like it will be time for me to trade in my truck. After the Veterans Admin gave me disability and now Vocational re-hab I'll be going back to college (on the tax payers dollar... thanks guys). I need a lower payment... so I'm looking at a few different vehicles. Haven't found many used trucks I liked, most had too high of milage (100k or more). So I think I'm going to the SUV market as I must have a 4x4 so I can go hunting, etc. I found a 2003 Durango that is fully loaded with 51000 miles for $15,000. Nice vehicle... but I know nothing about them. Anybody have any suggestions for this vehicle or others I should be looking at? Thanks.

Looks nice... but with nearly 250,000 miles on it, the ad makes it seem a little too good to be true. I've always liked the bronco's.... but thats just too many miles for me.

Thanks though

This isn't a dodge bashing post so don't take it that way...

My buddy had a durango...the SRT version. He loved the speed but a year later he traded it in on different brand. I asked why...he said it was fun but that it had rattles and was unreliable.

It was probably an isolated event but this guy has had chevys fords and dodges so I dont think it was a brand thing.

Oh God.....don't let Speeder see this. He'll be hooking up the trailer and heading to Oregon.
