Stomach Flu

Well, let me tell you guys and gals. I just got over a two day stomach flu and let me tell you, it totally sucked. I think I threw up an old boot last night. Fever got up to 102 and I think at some point I was playing cards with some Smurfs. I guess it's making it's rounds here in VA, I hope none of you guys and gals get it.

Last time I had one was when I was a little kid, and it was not fun. Get well soon.

A general sense of unease followed by stomach pains and the onset of the maddening fever. Soon the stomach pain becomes nearly unbearable and the delirium from the fever sets upon you. You are now likened to a wounded Wildebeest being chased by a pack of blood thirsty Jackals across the Serengeti for 36 hours.

Well, from what I understand, if an adult gets a temperature....it's usually REAL bad. Adults aren't SUPPOSED to get a high temp....it happens, but they aren't supposed to.

You didn't go to the doc?

Well did you at least take Papa Smurf? I've heard you can read his poker face like Green Eggs and Ham

No flu, but I've got a cold I can't seem to shake. If possible Randall, keep it quarantined down in Virginia. Hope you feel better.

BTW....did anyone get a flu shot?

Sounds like a slight case of food poisoning. That nasty stuff will make it come out both ends. (this is GD at its finest)

Its not really that big of a deal unless it gets really high up there and won't come down with meds (tylenol, motrin), a temperature is your body's way of fighting infection.

Nah, never did go. Seeing as how the baby sitters family had it first, I knew what it was......just had to wait it out. Man, I'm glad that's over.

No flu shot here, but my wife and son did, and they got it anyway.

Sorry about letting it out of VA, but last I heard it's making it's rounds every where...

When my kid got that stomach flu, I thought it was just a lot of complaining to skip school.

24 hours later, I was rolling around on the floor making woman sounds.
