Newbe from MO

Hey all, I just joined this site (after browsing for several months) and just wanted to say hi. This is a great site and I have found it very useful the past few months. I regret not joining a long time ago. I'm a college student from MO, with only 1 month til graduation and I bought my dads 2004 FX4 scab off him a few months ago. So far all i've done to it is 20% front tint to match the back and added 285/65/18 bfg A/T's. Many more mods to come hopefully.

My best friend goes to SEMO.... He hates it, mainly because of his roommate.

I lived there for 2 years but now i have my own place in my home town and am commuting 2 days a week to finish up my last 2 classes. I had some crappy roommates as well...made my decision leaving very easy.

How far of a drive is that? I looked at a red and white 1973 F-150 4X4 short bed in Farmington once. Should have bought that damn thing. Was $2300, had 75,000 original miles, had a newly rebuilt and bored over 400M, new clutch, new 6" lift..

I know my way around that area...

Familar with the lead work going on over in Iron, Dent, & Reynolds Counties? I'm over that work.

I've shopped in your Wal-Mart/Lowes oodles of times... I've slept at the Holiday Inn Express more times than I can count... I've eaten at Sonic OODLES of times... and I've even consumed a frothy beverage or two at Applebee's there.

I'm 'well versed' in that area. I'm not out there now but, I actually had an apartment in Salem for the better portion of a year (last year).

Yep I know all around those areas and i've got messed up more times than I can count at our Applebee's. My roommate right now works for Doe Run Co. in viburnum. He is a surveyor in the mines.

Farmington is about an hour fifteen from st charles and around 3.5 from rolla. I think I know the exact truck you are talking about, runs like a champ!

Red and white two tone? It was weird..it was an XL with no A/C, but it had cruise control. And yeah, it ran like a champ when I drove it, about 2 1/2 years ago when it was for sale. Went down there another time to look at an F-350, ended up being a pile.
