Ejector seat. No, no, smoke screen.
It's probably for some aftermarket lighting or accessories that the previous owner had installed before they sold/traded the truck.

Yeah, that's a great episode, I taped it. They used the wheel and tire combination I'm going to get.
"old school style" amp power, for the amps with out remote power????
Maybe oil slick????
rocket launchers????
how the heck are we suppose to know?
Reminds me of the commercial with the guy is flipping the light switch in the house asking his wife what it was for. Ask her to look around and see if it did anything. Meanwhile they pan out and the neighbors garage door is goig up and down slamming on her hood.

I know what that is. It's not an ON/OFF switch. It's an OPEN/CLOSE switch. I had one on one of my vehicles years ago. It opens a door to another dimention. It seems cool at first, but gets old quick.
When you switch it to the O (open), look around for a swirling black hole and drive in.

If flipping the switch does nothing, it may be nothing...
Some of the afore-mentioned possibilities are possible. (You can figure out which ones aren't worth searching for)
Some others: Kill switch, valet switch for an aftermarket alarm that may or may not be installed, a valet setting for an aftermarket tuner to limit the power/speed, or any number of aftermarket accessories that may have been installed at one time.
Best way to know? Follow the wires and see what they're connected to.
