Already did all the clocks at work, will be doing the house tonight... Probably a good time to check your home alert batteries also (smoke, etc)

Question

What's the deal with Indiana and DST? Can someone from there please explain the time zone/DST issue to us? Did they pass a law to change to DST state-wide or not?

Tell me if I'm right. There's 3 time 'areas' in Indiana;

1...the majority of the state...Eastern time zone/doesn't use DST

2...the area near Chicago...Central time zone/uses DST

3...the area near Cincinnati...Eastern time zone/ uses DST

In the summer if it's 5:00 in #1, then it's 5:00 in #2 & 6:00 in #3.
In the winter if it's 5:00 in #1, then it's 4:00 in #2 & 5:00 in #3.
Is that right?

Just found this on the net

"Not all places in the U.S. observe daylight time. In particular, Hawaii and most of Arizona do not use it. Indiana just recently adopted the use of it beginning in 2006."
