ahh! I hate picking leaves up!!
This damn city I live in must be to damn cheep to come pick up your leaves for you. The only way they can pick your leaves up is if you put them in bags and onto your tree lawn. I'm used to living where you just blow your leaves on the front tree lawn and the city comes and picks them up for you.
I freeken have about 60 bags of leaves so far today I'm trying to pick up and I'm not even 3/4 of the way done yet!!
tomorrow the winds are going to be gusting over 60mph here and all thats going to do is bring back more leaves for me to pick up and bag!!
this sucks!

It's plastic, a rectangle shaped sheet, has two hand cutouts.
You roll it up like a newspaper, slide a bag over it,
the bag will then stand up by itself.
Stuff it full, the plastic sleeve protects from punctures.
When the bag is full the sleeve easily pulls out.

I knew he didn't have a truck.
I don't bag anymore, the landfill is only six miles away.
I line my bed with a heavy tarp and then use a plastic tub to to fill the bed.
When I get to the dump I yank the tarp out.
80 mature trees is about five truck loads per season.

Just do what I've been doing for many years now. Leave them where mother nature put them. As soon as you move your leaves, your neighbor's leaves blow into your yard, and its just a lot of work for nothing IMHO...

We have about a hundred oak trees. I try to keep up with them by mulching with the mower every couple of weeks. Usually keeps me from raking too many. Went to a neighborhood meeting last night. They have discovered natural gas in our area. Our acre is supposed to bring in a royalty of about $400 per month for the next 15 plus years. Kind of like manna from heaven! Sure hope it comes about. They will drill in about 6 months.
