Thumbs up Ford raising the bar again!

The super duty line is growing for 2008 with the addition of an F450 pickup.

I just don't like the new stacked headlight for the super duty line, just looks odd to me.

I saw one of these on 635 2-3 weeks ago, but it didn't look much different than the current F-250, 350... I just figured someone took a badge of an F-450 and put it on his 350 dualie...

Perhaps they were road testing it... The only reason I noticed it was the red background- otherwise, visually on the highway, there was no way to instantly distinguish it from the ones on the road today.

Awesome...

WOnder if you'll need a CDL to buy it?

The '08 Super Duties will be instantly recognizable by the stacked headlights and the "Super Duty" stamped in the grill and tailgate.

Yeah, but not when you're passing one from behind, like I was.

Should.

They have "SUPERDUTY" stamped into the tailgate at the bottom with the huge blue oval in the center

This has only been reposted about 547238954 times now. But, sign me up for a F-350, crew cab short bed, lariat, black, PSD. Oh, and a 6 spd.

Subtle differences...

It was a surprise... I would've checked it out, had I thought (or new) Ford was coming out with an F-450. I thought some joker had just put F-450 on his truck... Just like I know folks with Bimmers with "V12" on the fender, that has a V-8 under the hood...

Don't even get me started on the jokers that did that with their V6 Camaro's but put Z28 badges on it...

Ford has had F-450s and F-550s out since 1992. They were known as the F-SUPERDUTY from 1992 - 1997, and as the F-450/550 from 1999+. They were only available as a cab and chassis model though. Now you can get them with a bed from the factory.

Go to a horse show/rode. A) Cowgirls. B) Plenty of huge trucks. Lots and lots of F-450s/550s.
