I hate to say it but sucking it up ain't going to cut it. Once you break your back, been paralyzed, and only have a 20% chance of being able to walk again you'd understand. . I'd rather go thru an enormous amount of pain to get rid of the pain forever. There has to be something. I was told I could have something done called Myo-Fasial release (sp) and that could cure it. Anyone have it done or know anything about it? Its supposed to be a technique of massage that you do until the scar tissue is worked out.

Trust me, I do understand. Ever have your foot twist totally backwards? That hurts like nothing else. I wasnt sure I would ever be able to walk on that foot again it was so bad.(nor did the doctors) And by sucking it up , I mean exactly that, suck it up and get used to it!!! If you are hurt that bad nothing is going to help you "forever" you may get message therapy or whatever else and it may feel better for a litle while, but in the long run its always gonna hurt, arthritis will most likely set in and you'll be bitchin about your back for the rest of your life. Like I said, it's been 10 years since I broke my foot and it hurts every single day. Some worse than others. Its also weak now and twists real easy. If you've ever broke your ankle this bad and had to watch every step you make because the smallest rock or uneven surface will make you twist your ankle and shoot pain right up your leg and into your back...you would understand.

did you look into the Rolfer as Craz3d suggested? I might try to find one around here.

I've broken my right ankle twice and my left once.

The first time was a no biggie, but the secound time required major reconstruction by a specialist. Dr Dean Cole is the best Dr. of the South-East and he wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to walk with it. My ankle only moves up and down now as well, barely any side movement. I know what you're talking about. . but a back and a foot are two different worlds. I can live with the pain in my foot, the back is a different story.
