Don't look like no Camry to me.

Nascar makes all the manufacturers use a body template for the racecars. The only difference between the manufacturers cars are the front end clip of the car (the nose) and their decals (ie: tail/head lights and grilles).

From the sides, rear and top all the cars look alike.

Wait until the C.O.T. (Car of Tomorrow) starts being used full-time in '08. Then all cars will be the same, only stickers will differentiate them. Right now, at least the cars maintain the same shape hoods as their street-legal counterparts. So much for "race on Sunday, drive on Monday".

I agree, closer. Gone are the days when Richard Petty might lap the entire field 2 or 3 times en route to winning a race. That would be great to see again. I can't stand the state of NASCAR today.

Richard Petty had money and money wins races. I'd say the talent behind the wheel is pretty equal. But NASCAR is much more exciting now than 30 years ago. You don't know who is gonna win the next race. NASCAR does what they can to make it equal, competetive and exciting. NASCAR keeps getting bigger and better. The numbers show it. They keep adding seats and more seats. Petty wouldn't have all those wins with todays competition.

I don't watch NASCAR; I watch drag racing. I figure that if a person can turn, then he or she isn't going fast enough. Just imagine running the 1/4 mile in 4.6s at 330 mph in a nitromethane top fuel car!
