STOOPID @*^%#!&^#$% Insurnce companies

I just got my renewal policy. My F150 insurance has gone from $811 to $1004. The reason according to my broker.
"The F150 rate group has gone from 15 to 26 for Collission or Upset.
It has gone from 23 to 24 for Comprehensive.

Those Bastards will get you coming or going, won't they?

Has anyone else experienced an increase for their 2002 F150's in Canada, specifically the Yukon?

Talking Canadian Thing???????

Hopefully its a Canadian thing. Here in Texas that would cause a widespread mutiny because more trucks are sold here that anywhere. Would be a lot of pissed Peeps.

They always re-rate vehicles as they get more and more experience with different vehicles and the cost of repairs. I have had premiums go down as they found costs were not as high as expected.

Unless you live in NJ, Mass or KA, you really don't have much to complain about when it comes to car insurance.

KC-10 FE out...

$317.00 every 6 months to protect my 04 f-150. (Farmers). It had gone up to $509.00 but they made some stupid mistakes on thier part. It pays to pay close attention to what your paying cause they will screw you in a heart beat. It took two trips to the office and a couple hours of my time to straigten it all out.

In Vancouver I have the discounted rate 45% but still pay about $ 1,200 per year. 2004 lightning. Just be glad you do not live in Alberta. Their rates are horrible, if you have had an accident in the past several years. To insure my 5 year old f-150 ( 4 years ago) was $3,800.00, with a 2 year old accident. In British Columbia with that accident my insurance went up 5 % because of my over all good history.

Our rates have only gone up a few dollars in the last 6 years.
