Calling all Dallas Texas folks...
The wife and I are going to be in the Dallas area this Saturday for our anniversary.
We want to go to a nice place to eat, but don't want to go to the "usual" places (Friday's, Chili's, Olive Garden, etc).
We'd like to go to a nice quiet place to eat and not have to worry about the "staff" coming out and singing Happy Birthday to have the guests in the restaurant. No loud music, people acting fools. Just a nice quiet dinner.
Money is not an option.
Any suggestions?

All you can eat Brazilian Steakhouse, we had a place just like this cater our wedding reception. Very, very good... and rather classy, too.

Sorry JW- If I'd seen this, I'd have recommended FoGo De Chao...
Corner of Midway & Beltline, right next to Olive Garden. If your wife loves meat, she'd love that place. But, if she prefers a quieter atmoshpere, then Olive Garden was right there. There are other "non-chain" resturants that are far superior to Olive Garden, but OG can get 'er done... If you really wanted to show off, take her to the resturant that's in the Ball tower, next to reunion arena.
It would have been somewhat out of the way from Grand Prarie; but all the super-nice stuff (as far as restuarants and venues go) in Dallas is north of 635, east of 35 and West of 75.
Resturant Row (Addison) is on Beltline, between Midway and the Tollway.
Well, you'll know next time- then you guys can get a room at the Westin in the Galleria, and be close to all the good stuff, and not terribly far from Deep Elum (Downtown, 12 - 15 miles) if you'd like to do that.
As you know, Dallas is a big emmer-effer. Size (land) wise, it's one of the largest cities in the US, trailing only Phoenix, Jacksonville, and Los Angeles (if memory serves) in terms of square mileage. You can be in the same city, and still be an hour away from a person, in good traffic.
