Garage Floor covering/paint/epoxy
Quikcrete makes good stuff if you want to coat it, its in the paint section at lowes.
How ever the tiles are the only truely final way to do it.

Here are a couple companies. I just ordered a box of 50 tiles from racedeck to sample my garage and then maybe do my shop. THey are expensive, upwards of $3 per tile. (which gets expensive at a square foot basis) However, once done, you'll never have to do them again. Water and crap stays underneath and dries away, while painted floors have to be cleaned.

Also, how much is the 6500? I have a regular 2 car garage. I don't have the exact dimension right now.

Price on the 6500 is about $110.00-$140.00 per activated gallon [one short filled gallon can of resin and one activator = 1 activated gallon. According to the rustoleum tech sheet, the coverage is varies with the thickness: 150sqft at 11mil thickness to 100sqft at a 16mil thickness. I did not see any chips to add for color, but there is an antislip that you can cast into it.
The tiles also look good, maybe do the epoxy on the floor then the tiles over?
Depending on where you are, the concrete should be protected by something, esp with the road salt during winters.Woof

BTW, I'm in SoCal...not worried about terrible winters and road salt.

Although I'm looking for durability, I hardly use my garage other than storage. Most projects I do are done in the driveway. Mechanic jobs that would involve some type of spill will be done at a shop. So, I don't need rugged durability (per say), more long lasting (with minimum use) durability.
I'm partial to this color/scheme:

Keep in mind, a nice shiny floor is " slippery when wet" and is not necessarily a good thing.
I need a cram course on what to put on the garage floor of a new house. the cement will be about 4-5 months old if that matters, and it will be in Florida.
The homebuilder says the epoxy floor is $3.50 Sq. Ft.. I don't know the process, but it has that confetti stuff on the tops. Since the garage is about 32 x 26 feet, the estimate is more than $2800 !!!
I don't have a budget for that. If I do this myself, is this a multiple-layer coating for a dream garage? How long does it take to dry, and does it really stink? I don't want to breathe that stuff for a week. Also, my wife has asthma and couldn't handle the fumes?
I don't know what I'm talking about...if you can't tell
